Job description
As a Programme Delivery Lead in our Delivery Services practice, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and manage complex public sector programmes from inception through to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and client expectations.
- Provide strategic leadership, expert guidance, and assurance across programme workstreams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing delivery environment.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with senior public sector stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, effective expectation management, and proactive issue resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement in our public sector delivery capabilities, contributing to practice growth, thought leadership, and the development of our talent.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAFe?, * Experience leading implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (e.g., ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud) in the public sector.
- Practical experience in leading and delivering complex technology or business transformation programmes within the Public Sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale programmes or portfolios of projects, demonstrating strong leadership and an ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
- Deep understanding of programme delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their practical application in public sector environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex public sector challenges into actionable delivery plans and communicate insights effectively.
- Demonstrable experience in managing programme budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Experience in leading and embedding significant organisational change alongside technology implementation, particularly in public sector environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Able to pass UK Government SC clearance vetting.
Desirables:
- Experience and an understanding of the public sector landscape, including policy, governance, funding mechanisms, and key challenges faced by government departments and agencies.
- Experience with large-scale system implementations, digital transformation initiatives, or significant business change programmes within the public sector.
- Experience managing expectations and experience of delivering successful projects.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle certifications, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP) or equivalent.
- Experience in a consulting environment, delivering services to public sector clients.
