HES-SO Master (HMA) is the HES-SO entity dedicated to second-cycle education. In close partnership with the fields and universities of applied sciences, HMA leads, coordinates, and develops nine interdisciplinary master's programs, anchored in practice and connected to professional environments as well as research and innovation. HMA promotes a student experience centered on the learner, encourages interdisciplinarity, mobility, and international openness, and promotes innovative pedagogical approaches integrating sustainability and artificial intelligence. Through its collaborative governance and multisite network, HMA actively contributes to the visibility of HES-SO master's programs and the development of academic and professional careers of its graduates. In a context of transformation of student management systems, HMA is strengthening its team dedicated to information and management systems.
Your missions
Directly reporting to the HES SO Master Manager, you work in close collaboration with the senior analyst of the IS-Academia or AGE system (current student management system) as well as with the HES SO Master team. You ensure:
- Support and advice to users: assist HES-SO Master teams in the daily use of applications and ensure clear and up-to-date documentation.
- Improvement and reliability of academic processes: analyze needs, propose optimizations, and implement solutions adapted to the management of curricula, study plans, and academic rules.
- Modeling and configuration of academic data: structure information (curricula, regulations, services, etc.), test developments, and ensure compliance with regulations (HES-SO, OFS).
- Contribution to the digital transition of AGE for HES-SO Master: support the transfer to new IT tools of HES-SO and actively participate in the EVA program.
- Contribution to the transition to the new information system: ensure data transfer (admissions, student management, staff) in coordination with internal partners.
- Deployment of new management tools: design dashboards to strengthen student management and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in information systems and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and support skills in information systems.
- Project management experience, especially in system transformation., * You hold a Bachelor's degree from a Swiss university of applied sciences in information systems (computer science, business informatics);
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience after obtaining a university degree;
- You have a good knowledge of the academic environment and universities of applied sciences in particular;
- You have proven experience in information systems related to student management;
- You are a native French speaker, proficient in English, and able to read documents in German;
- You master common IT tools and are comfortable with data management environments.
