Job description
We are looking for a Junior IT Engineer, reporting to the IT Operations Manager and IT Supervisor, you will work within a small highly skilled IT engineering team to provide support for IT/Telephony and dentistry systems within our company. You will have a wide scope of general IT infrastructure skills and experience in the pursuit of delivering a high standard of work to both the user communities and change projects.
What you'll be doing
- Provide First Line IT support on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure that calls are answered in a timely and polite manner
- Record all tickets on our Service Desk System (Go-To Assist) with sufficient information
- Ensuring that IT support requests & incidents are dealt with promptly & resolved within the agreed SLA
- Proven record of closing 25+ tickets per day
- Support system changes and project work independent to day-to-day support activities
- Troubleshooting skills and using initiative
- Out of hours installations (as and when required)
- Ability to prioritise mission critical vs noncritical tickets and ad=hoc requests
- Some travel to sites across the country when requested
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in IT?, * Proven 1st line IT support within a fast-paced environment or an keen interest in IT/Computing with a degree or certification in IT Computing
- Ideally technical knowledge across IT infrastructure, networking, and telephony systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel for site support
