IT Generalist

• SaaS vendor and identity management (SSO; SAML; Google Workspace; Slack; GitHub; AWS; Claude/Cursor/OpenAI/Gemini), including integrating new tools in a coherent and secure way
• Internal support for hardware, software, and systems issues
• Gear procurement, configuration, and delivery (manage VARs; collab to choose standard personal rigs for various purposes; device management and updates; gear refresh/replacements; macOS, Windows, Linux)
• Onboarding, offboarding, process automation and compliance (collab with staff on first-day and last-day processes; help define and apply sensible policies; help respond to legal or security incidents)
• Some physical planning and IT support at our locations in London.

Day-to-day this job interacts with everyone in the company. Management collaborators will most often be the Chief of Staff, General Counsel, and engineering leadership.

The Person

• Unusually available, especially in Slack. We are distributed globally and we don't always work normal hours.
• A good writer in chat, email, and longer forms. A good explainer.
• Patient, kind, and fulfilled by helping others.

Do you have experience in macOS?

We're placing this person in the UK, near our facilities and many of our people, but we are a globally distributed and asynchronous team. There are about 25 of us currently but likely 35 or 40 by the end of the year. The team is experienced and highly technical.
