Job description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support one of our agile teams in delivering high-value solutions. The team operates across a diverse technology landscape, combining traditional Business Intelligence tools with modern data and digital platforms.

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that agile principles and practices are fully understood and applied, maximizing team collaboration and outcomes. You will help shield the team from distractions, facilitate agile ceremonies, and act as a coach to both the squad and stakeholders.

In addition to Scrum Master responsibilities, you will also take ownership of Feature Delivery, ensuring that business priorities are aligned with team objectives and that features are delivered on time, with the right level of quality., * Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other relevant meetings.

  • Support the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog, tracking progress with capacity and velocity metrics, and ensuring the team achieves its Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Identify and resolve impediments that block delivery, maintaining smooth adoption of agile practices.
  • Coach the team and stakeholders on agile values and ways of working, promoting self-organization and team autonomy.
  • Act as a servant leader, encouraging collaboration, openness, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Contribute to alignment across teams by participating in cross-team coordination (e.g., Scrum of Scrums).
  • Report on progress, risks, and challenges to management while promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of at least one local language (French or Dutch) is a strong asset., * Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent through professional experience., * Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Proficiency with agile collaboration and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles., * Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Empathy, active listening, and a supportive coaching mindset.
  • Ability to build trust, foster feedback, and encourage collaboration.
  • Pragmatic and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Servant leadership with the ability to influence and guide without imposing.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
