E-Powertrain Modelling and Simulation Engineer

In the scope of powertrain electrification roadmap development for our client (leading OEM of off-highway vehicles), we are searching for a skilled and motivated engineer in powertrain modelling & simulation domain. The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team. The candidate will:

• Be expected to be autonomous and responsible in his work and take initiative
• Together with the team perform design optimization study for electric/hybrid driveline, acting as powertrain simulation engineer in the team;

Key tasks

• Create powertrain simulation models for hybrid/electric powertrain
• Perform system level simulation & analyse results
• Compile & present results to the internal team & the client
• Evaluate design trade-offs of design choices
• Make design recommendations to meet customer requirements backed by strong analysis
• Working closely with motor, power electronics, control & energy storage engineer to optimize electric powertrain
• Analyse inter component behaviour within the powertrain

• Masters in Mechanical/ Electro-Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering/ Control Engineering with first experience in the powertrain modelling & control
• Analytical & critical thinking
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience in hybridization/electrification of non-road/off-highway/ construction/ agricultural machinery is a strong asset
• Fluent in English
• Skills in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape
• Creative mindset
• Good team player and able to work independently
