Job description
We are seeking a skilled Office IT Desktop Services Expert to provide comprehensive second-line support for VOIS Spain. You will work across a wide range of office and workplace technologies, supporting internal and external users, managing incident resolution, and collaborating closely with first-line support teams. This role involves troubleshooting, asset management, customer interaction, and participation in IT projects to ensure seamless service delivery across VOIS Spain workplace environments.
What you'll do

Deliver Level 2 Office IT Desktop Support in collaboration with L1 teams, ensuring all requests and incidents are managed in line with VOIS policies.

Communicate effectively with users through email, chat, or messaging platforms, providing clear technical and non-technical explanations.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, errors, and resolution steps.

Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting as required, escalating cases appropriately and monitoring escalated incidents.Introduce new employees to Office IT standards and offer guidance to colleagues and junior associates.

Support installation and testing of hardware, applications, and operating systems.

Ensure all equipment complies with security requirements, including safe erasure and decommissioning.

Control, track, and manage hardware and software assets in line with company policies.Prepare reports as required by management.

Deliver IT support activities at alternative sites when needed (MTX and other off-site locations).

Manage workstation and software installations, with priority support for senior leaders.Support meeting room technologies, including audio/video and collaboration equipment.Provide printer, screen, and projector support.

Perform asset warehousing, collection, distribution, and minor repairs.Collaborate with third-party IT service providers to ensure adherence to VOIS standards.

Participate in projects, knowledge base development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Do you have experience in IT?, * You hold a technical qualification in Computer, Industrial, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- You bring at least 3 years of experience in Office IT services or similar roles.
- You have strong technical awareness and the ability to quickly learn new hardware and software technologies.
- You possess strong communication skills and can communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.You have prior experience in customer-facing support environments.
- You are self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
- An ITIL V3 Foundation certification is desirable., * Enhanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of workplace IT infrastructure and collaboration technologies.
