Job description

  • Lead a global product data transformation, including design, rollout, and adoption of a unified part numbering system (FPN) across 40+ countries.
  • Oversee the Product Information Management (PIM) function, managing central and local teams and building governance routines and KPIs.
  • Ensure product master data readiness and quality for SAP S/4HANA implementation and legacy ERP systems.
  • Define and enforce global data standards, taxonomies, and classification logic across products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Country teams) to align business requirements with technical design.
  • Act as a change ambassador, communicating milestones, benefits, and timelines to ensure adoption across all regions.
  • Drive process automation and continuous improvement in data operations.
  • Provide executive reporting on progress, risks, quality, and value realization.

Requirements

  • Experienced in global data leadership: 8+ years in PIM, master data, or data governance roles, ideally with cross-country transformations.
  • SAP / ERP expertise: Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and experience integrating master data across multiple systems.
  • Strategic thinker & program leader: Able to design and drive complex, multi-country initiatives while influencing executives and stakeholders.
  • People leadership: Experienced in managing distributed teams, building capabilities, and fostering collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and process mindset: Focused on data quality, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills: Able to align business and technical teams and act as a change ambassador.
  • Flexible & adaptable: Comfortable in hybrid, remote, or on-site environments; able to work across cultures and time zones.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Information Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English: Additional languages are a plus.
  • Technical or technical-marketing knowledge: Advantageous for understanding product specifications and data structures.
