Network Engineer

Sanderson Government & Defence are currently supporting a key client within the secure government sector who are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Network Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical systems in a highly regulated environment., * Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure built around Cisco technologies

• Work within VMware virtualised environments to support network connectivity and performance
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-site environments
• Implement network changes, upgrades, and improvements
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain secure network operations
• Produce and maintain technical documentation where required

• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, Firewalls)
• Solid experience working with VMware environments
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale network infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
• Experience working within secure or regulated environments
• Active SC Clearance (essential)
