Job description
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems, resolving technical issues, supporting users, and ensuring the infrastructure remains secure and compliant with industry standards., * Implement and maintain IT infrastructure in line with company standards
- Install, configure, and support hardware, software, servers, and network systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation
- Work with other IT teams to deliver system improvements and upgrades
- Provide technical support to users and support technology/vendor decisions
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure engineering
- Excellent knowledge of PC repair, installation/replacement of network hardware and software
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
Desirable:
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems and virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V

6 month Fixed Term contract - Full-time, 37.5 hours a week Faslane, Helensburgh Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
