Job description
- Empower Project Delivery with the development of innovative, integrated GIS solutions.
- Deliver against GIS requirements, create opportunities and develop a forward thinking mindset.
- Make informed decisions and asses new GIS requests against project requirements to deliver sustainable solutions, which align with the GIS Strategy.
- Work closely with the Project Digital Delivery team to enable knowledge sharing, alignment of processes and delivery of key responsibilities through an integrated GIS-BIM focus.
- Work closely with the project Digital Delivery team to support on core activities and adopting best practice from other Skanska projects.
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree or above in Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Data Science or Software Development
- MSc in Geospatial Sciences, GIS, Digital Engineering or GIS related discipline and/or UG (preferable)
- 3+ years of professional GIS implementation
- Awareness of Geospatial Standards and the UK BIM Framework and ISO19650
- Experience in geospatial data reconciliation & ETL automation
