Family and values are what makes us different, and we are a proud bunch, join us and you too could be proud to be Warburtons.The RecipeResponsible for the design, planning and delivery of all IT infrastructure while simultaneously managing a team of technical and support analysts responsible for maintaining that infrastructure and ensuring system availability and performance is maintained.Key Accountabilities and MeasuresSystem availability/service level - ensure that the IT systems are available to be used when needed for all 2000+ computer users, that systems are properly monitored, controlled, reviewed and improved to meet the changing requirements of our users.System design/suitability - work collaboratively with the Head of IT Controls and Head of Technology Platforms to lead the design, planning and implementation of the current and future IT Infrastructure to ensure it supports future business requirements in terms of capacity, capability, resilience and security.Change control - manage the process to control the introduction of all IT infrastructure system changes.Business continuity - design, document, implement and manage the process and IT Operations to ensure that in the event of a disaster the IT technical and service facilities can be recovered within agreed time scales and at a level of cost that the business is willing to support.Cost/efficiency - continually seek out ways in which the costs of IT service provision can be reduced, and the quality improved. Create supporting documentation to seek approval for any such opportunities.Relationships with external stakeholders / providers - Select and manage suppliers including negotiation of high cost contracts - up to circa £1.5m pa.Team development - lead, manage, coach and develop the IT Technical Analyst & Support Teams to achieve the plans, objectives and targets set.Essential Ingredients, * Family time is important to us and we know it will be to you so you have the opportunity to purchase up to an extra weeks annual leave.

Requirements
- 10 years plus experience leading IT Infrastructure and Support Teams
- Degree and/or appropriate professional qualifications in relevant subjects
- Familiarity with ITIL, documentation, and change control processes
- Skilled in vendor management, budgeting, and procurement
- Strong understanding of servers, networks, storage, and security (technologies to include Azure, Cisco Networking, Citrix, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Sophos)
- Strong communication skills with the ability and willingness to support and collaborate across teams
- Ability to report performance, risks, and system health to leadership
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willing to study professional qualifications as required
- Self-starter with confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong IT literacy and experience using MS Office suite
- Works effectively with peers and stakeholders, managing expectations appropriately
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively
