We're looking for a Change Deployment Manager to join our Operations Transformation Deployment Team. This is a pivotal role in one of the most ambitious transformations in Royal Mail's history, as we shift from a letter-led to a parcel-led business model.About the RoleReporting to the Senior Change Deployment Manager, you'll be responsible for deploying transformational change across delivery units. Whether leading revisions or supporting commercial projects, you'll ensure high-quality, sustainable change that delivers measurable benefits. You'll work closely with operational managers and union representatives to ensure readiness, engagement, and successful implementation.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver small to medium-sized unit revisions using relevant business tools
- Support larger revisions and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with national agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, communicate, and embed change effectively.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and report on delivery against project milestones.
- Ensure operational readiness through data validation, stakeholder engagement, and training.
- Complete post-implementation reviews and handovers to business-as-usual teams.
Requirements
The role will require extensive travel around the Oxford and Reading area.About YouYou're a confident communicator and experienced change agent with a strong understanding of delivery operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at influencing, coaching, and managing multiple priorities.What You'll Bring:
- Practitioner-level experience with GeoRoute and Duty Manager. (desirable but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of delivery systems (e.g., IWT, DDS, Route Manager).
- Excellent planning, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in deploying operational change and working with trade unions.
- Project and change management skills (APM PFQ or Prosci certification desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QlikView apps.
