Job description

Join our Internal IT department as a permanent member of the Core Finance Tribe, contributing to a strategic Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM initiative ️.

You will act as the primary IT interface between FP&A, Controlling teams, and IT, helping shape the company's planning, forecasting, and controlling capabilities.

In this hands-on, hybrid role, you will capture, structure, and translate business needs into actionable system evolutions , ensuring alignment with the Oracle Fusion Core Model, IT standards, and roadmap. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and System Integrators, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and compliant.

This is a long-term opportunity: you will join IT as a permanent resource, work on a high-impact project, and continue to grow with the department as new initiatives and improvements arise .

What you'll do ️

  • Be the primary IT partner for FP&A and Controlling process owners
  • Lead workshops to capture needs, identify pain points, and align requests with Core Model and Oracle best practices
  • Translate requirements into clear, testable functional specifications
  • Design, configure, and optimize EPM Controlling & Forecasting models, leveraging:
  • Essbase (BSO/ASO) for calculations and reporting
  • Calculation Manager & Groovy for advanced rules and allocations
  • Smart View for Excel-based input and analysis
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and Solution Architects on data, integrations, security, and reporting impacts
  • Review and validate design/configuration via test cases and sign-offs
  • Support UAT, release readiness, and change delivery (impact analysis, test planning, defect triage)
  • Manage the transition from legacy to new ERPM models, ensuring continuity, data integrity, and compliance
  • Oversee data migration, reconciliation between ERP and EPM, and performance optimization of models
  • Standardize input templates, reporting structures, and contribute to dimension/hierarchy governance (EDMCS)
  • Collaborate across IT streams and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end coherence and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/EPM functional analysis or business process consulting
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM platforms ️, particularly in Controlling & Forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of FP&A, planning, and controlling processes
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable system evolutions and challenge requests
  • Experience with Essbase, Calculation Manager, Groovy, Smart View
  • Comfortable in a hybrid role, leading workshops and configuring/testing solutions
  • Solid understanding of data integrity, reconciliation, and compliance requirements (SOX, audit, accounting standards)
  • Skilled at working with cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluent in English ️

Nice to have

  • Multi-GAAP or multinational experience
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Oracle Analytics, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of Redwood UX, quarterly release cycles, or ERP integration tools (OIC, API, middleware)
  • Experience with Agile/hybrid delivery tools (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow)
