You'll take on exciting technical challenges and develop your expertise while creating solutions that drive progress across several industries., As an IT Application & Network Engineer, you play a pivotal role in enhancing and developing critical applications and infrastructure at VeroTech. You optimize, maintain, and expand custom applications that are essential for production, data processing, and operational workflows. Your expertise in network infrastructure management and improvement will be critical to ensuring seamless and efficient operations., * Develop new functionalities in Python, including both back-end logic and UI components.
- Manage and enhance network infrastructure, including troubleshooting, configuration, and performance optimization.
- Set up and maintain databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and integration with applications.
- Conduct data analyses to support engineering and production processes.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and engineering teams to translate technical needs into robust software and network solutions.
- Document systems, architecture, and changes in accordance with internal standards.
Requirements
We're seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or a hybrid IT-engineering role:
- Strong knowledge of Python, with experience in UI frameworks (e.g., PyQt, Tkinter, web-UI) and back-end development.
- Thorough knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, monitoring).
- Experience with database management (SQL, data modeling, performance).
- Mathematical or analytical background is a strong plus, especially for data analysis and algorithmic challenges.
- Experience in a high-tech or telecom environment is advantageous.
- Independent problem-solver comfortable in a setting where software, hardware, and production processes converge.
