ICT Specialist - Interface and Data Conversion Tester in Amsterdam

An experienced Tester is required to support the implementation of a new Student Information System (SIS) and curriculum management platform. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality data conversion and seamless integration between systems, contributing to a large-scale system replacement project.

The Tester will work closely with project teams responsible for data migration and system integrations, including connections facilitated through an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)., * Define and document test strategies for various testing phases

• Prepare and execute test cases for data conversion and system integrations
• Coordinate testing activities with internal stakeholders and external parties
• Perform independent testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Record test results, track defects, and produce detailed test reports
• Compare datasets, analyze discrepancies, and identify root causes of issues, * The role involves close collaboration with multiple project workstreams, particularly in data conversion and integration.

• Bachelor-level (or equivalent) knowledge and experience in IT or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a testing role
• Experience with structured testing methodologies (e.g., TMAP, ISTQB)
• Technical testing background, with hands-on experience in:

• System integrations
• Data migration / data conversion testing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
