Job description
As a Salesforce Platform Manager, you will serve as the senior Salesforce expert within the Commercial Tooling team. You will own both the short- and long-term roadmap for the Salesforce implementation used by more than 1200 Commercial employees across the Partner Journey. Operating as an individual contributor with senior responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with Process, Product, Tech, DPE, and Sales leaders to translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions within Sales Cloud and its connected ecosystem. You will lead roadmap definition, backlog management, solution design, and functional delivery across multiple interconnected systems. You will guide cross-functional Salesforce specialists to build new functionalities and integrations, while ensuring adoption, data accuracy, and platform stability. With your strong technical background, you will translate system constraints into business insights and shape the strategic direction of the CRM platform., * Acts as Product Owner by defining the Salesforce platform vision and translating it into the departmental strategy across the full Partner Journey.
- Establishes, refines, and adjusts platform roadmaps based on business priorities and operational needs.
- Formulates Epics and manages cross-team dependencies with Tech and Product stakeholders inside and outside the tooling track.
- Leads backlog grooming and prioritizes work during sprint planning in alignment with the roadmap.
- Acts as point of escalation and manages senior stakeholder expectations regarding competing priorities and delivery alignment.
- Monitors and reports progress against the roadmap through established governance structures.
- Mentors junior colleagues and contingent workers on Salesforce best practices and implementation approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5-8 years of broad Salesforce experience.
- Strong technical background with the ability to translate technical insights into business impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a critical eye for data quality.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-complexity environments.
- Certified Salesforce Consultant: Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Service Cloud. Technologies Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce CMS, Salesforce Integrations, Jira Align, Jira, Tableau, GitLab.
