Job description
- Demonstrating company machines to customers onsite
- Be responsible for Customer Training with respect to Machine Operation and Programming.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have sound engineering background and a minimum of 4 years' experience within a Machine Tool environment as a Production Engineer or a Machine Tool Setter/Operator.
- A good understanding of NC programming language is important, and in particular, knowledge of both Fanuc & Okuma based Controls would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Exposure to CAM packages for NC program generation and Machine Simulation would be beneficial and a willingness to embrace new technology is paramount.
- The candidate will require excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have a high degree of self-motivation.
- They will need to be able to work independently and manage their time effectively to achieve project milestones and be equally as comfortable as part of a team.
