This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role where you'll sit between Sales, Product, Engineering and Customers , shaping solutions that are both technically sound and commercially viable.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating real-world customer problems into structured, deliverable technical solutions - and who's comfortable challenging assumptions when needed.What you'll be doingActing as the technical voice of the customer during presales and early deliveryWorking with Sales and Account Management to qualify customer requirementsDesigning end-to-end solutions, including: Device selection and configurationPlatform configuration and integrationsProducing clear solution documentation (assumptions, risks, constraints and gap analysis)Supporting RFPs, RFQs, tenders and Proofs of ConceptIdentifying solution gaps and proposing mitigations or phased approachesWorking closely with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and constraintsSupporting complex onboardings and acting as a technical escalation point post-saleOperating within defined architectural standards and governance processesWhat we're looking forExperience as a Solutions Engineer, Presales Engineer, Applications Engineer or similarStrong technical understanding of: Vehicle telematics systemsVehicle video/camera solutionsConnected or Io T devices and cloud platformsComfortable in customer-facing, consultative environmentsAble to balance customer needs with technical, operational and commercial realitiesClear communicator who documents decisions and risks wellNice to have (but not essential)Automotive electrical knowledge (CAN, power, signals)Exposure to Io T firmware or device configurationExperience supporting Po Cs or pilot deploymentsBackground in fleet, safety-led or regulated telematics environmentsWhy Vision TrackMarket-leading, award-winning technologyReal impact on road safety and insurance outcomesHigh-calibre technical environment with clear standards and governanceOpportunity to shape solutions at scale, not just "sell and hand over"If you like being the person who brings clarity to complex technical conversations and want your solutions to actually work in the real world, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ Similar jobs, As a Generator Controls Engineer, you will take total responsibility for the implementation of a Successful Project to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget and meets the customer specifications and expectations.
