Job description

The Opportunity This is a great contract opportunity to get stuck into meaningful data work at a fast-moving technology consultancy with a genuinely global footprint. You will be Embedded in delivery teams, working directly with clients to turn messy, complex data into clear insights and polished dashboards that actually drive decisions. If you thrive on variety, enjoy explaining technical concepts to people who didn't grow up in spreadsheets, and want a contract where no two weeks look the same - this one is worth a serious look. What You'll Be Doing

  • Getting hands-on with raw data from multiple sources - cleaning, structuring and making sense of it
  • Building Power BI dashboards that tell a compelling story, not just display numbers
  • Running ETL processes as part of live data migration projects
  • Writing and maintaining reports - both operational and ad hoc - that people actually use
  • Presenting technical findings to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence
  • Coaching and supporting end users on the tools and technologies they're working with
  • Troubleshooting Excel headaches - broken macros, tangled linked files, the works
  • Jumping in on data migration issues and helping get things back on track

Requirements

You'll need:

  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Data Analyst
  • A solid track record building and deploying custom Power BI dashboards (Power Query, M, DAX)
  • Strong Excel skills - we're talking advanced formulas, pivot tables and VBA/macros
  • Hands-on experience with data migration projects and ETL processes
  • Python Scripting ability (Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, Matplotlib)
  • Microsoft Fabric knowledge
  • Experience producing and owning Management Information (MI) reports
  • Excellent written and spoken English (B2+ minimum)
  • Strong communication skills - you can make data make sense to anyone

Bonus points for:

  • SQL and/or PowerShell scripting
  • Microsoft Dataverse or the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform
  • Experience on IT infrastructure or Microsoft 365 projects
  • Any developer skills - always useful in this kind of environment

Benefits & conditions

The Details This is an outside IR35 contract paying £350 per day. You'll be joining a consultancy that operates across the UK, Asia and LATAM - so there is real breadth to the work and the client base. We invest in the people we work with - contractors included. Expect access to training, mentorship and the tools you need to do your best work. We are proud to be an inclusive employer and actively welcome applications from candidates with disabilities and from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the tech industry. Adjustments and practical support are available throughout the process - just let us know what you need.
