Job description

You'll take end-to-end ownership of data initiatives that directly impact strategic decision-making across multiple business functions. This is a hands-on position where you'll design, build and maintain the analytical infrastructure that enables the business to move fast and make data-informed choices at scale., * Own the development and maintenance of data pipelines and transformation logic using dbt, ensuring robust, well-documented, and reusable data models

  • Architect and manage data warehouse solutions (Snowflake or Redshift) to support growing analytical demands across the organisation
  • Build compelling dashboards and reports using visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase) that translate complex data into actionable business narratives
  • Write performant SQL queries to extract, validate and analyse datasets across finance, product, marketing and operations functions
  • Develop statistical and predictive models using Python or R to uncover patterns, forecast outcomes and optimise business performance
  • Work cross-functionally with product, finance, marketing and operations teams to define analytical requirements, surface insights and drive decision-making
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data into business impact
  • Establish best practices, documentation and governance to scale analytics capabilities alongside the business

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Extensive hands-on experience with dbt-comfortable building and refactoring data models in production environments

  • Solid background working with modern cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake and/or Redshift
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and visualisation tools including Power BI, Tableau or Metabase
  • Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated ability to write efficient, maintainable queries
  • Strong programming capability in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis and modelling
  • Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and translate business questions into analytical approaches
  • Proven ability to manage relationships across multiple teams and prioritise competing analytical demands
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment
