Your new company My client is a long-established, UK-wide, not-for-profit membership organisation focused on supporting people's wellbeing, leisure, and active lifestyles. Through a mix of events, activities, benefits, and digital services, we help members stay connected, active, and engaged. Our work is delivered through a combination of dedicated staff and a large volunteer network, all committed to creating great experiences and accessible opportunities for our members.

Your new role

Lead the development, improvement, and performance of the Website and Events Platform. Your goal is to deliver a smooth, engaging, and effective digital experience for members - from discovering events to booking and post-event follow-up.

You will manage the full digital user journey, ensure high standards of usability and accessibility, and drive measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and member satisfaction.

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and a user-first mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical and able to turn data into practical improvements.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Comfortable presenting performance updates to senior stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience managing websites or digital platforms, including ownership of user journeys.
  • Experience with event platforms, booking systems, or e-commerce flows (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of UX, CRO, and digital performance metrics.
  • Experience running QA processes within CMS or web environments.
  • Understanding of web development workflows and best practices.
  • Confident using analytics tools such as GA4.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design.
  • Basic scripting or coding skills (beneficial).
