Job description
Are you a hands-on IT Support Analyst looking for a role where you can really make an impact? Join a growing, international manufacturing business based in Avonmouth, supporting both office and warehouse., * Act as the primary on-site contact for IT issues across office, production, and warehouse environments.
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, scanners, and printers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, WAN).
- Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and user administration.
- Assist with ERP system support (user setup, permissions, troubleshooting, documentation).
- Provide support for shop-floor and manufacturing technology such as barcode scanners and label printers.
- Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Work collaboratively with the external Managed Service Provider on escalations and projects.
- Support core IT admin tasks including backups, server basics, and endpoint management.
Requirements
Do you have at least 3 years experience on an IT Helpdesk? Experience with basic coding?, Essential:
- Experience in 1st & 2nd line IT support within a Windows environment
- Basic scripting knowledge e.g. SQL (desirable)
- Ideally have worked in a Engineering / Manufacturing company
- Confident supporting hardware, software, mobile devices, and printers
- Microsoft 365 knowledge (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, admin tasks)
- Understanding of user account management and access control
- Basic networking understanding (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, WAN)
- Excellent communication and user support skills
- Comfortable working independently in an on-site, hands-on role
