About the company

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain Join a Horizon Europe research project on the security and privacy of next-generation mobile networks, collaborating with leading universities and industry partners. The Telematics Engineering Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in 5G/6G Network Security and Privacy, starting in September 2026. The selected candidate will conduct research on security and privacy mechanisms for next-generation mobile networks. The work will focus on the measurement, analysis, and design of mechanisms to enhance security and privacy in current 5G networks and their evolution toward 6G systems. This research will be carried out within the EU-funded Horizon Europe project PIONEERS-6G, an international initiative bringing together leading European universities and industry partners to develop the foundations of future 6G communication systems.
