Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and dependable Business Support Coordinator to support the Managing Director and help coordinate the smooth running of our busy arboricultural business.

This role would suit someone proactive, detail-focused and confident handling multiple priorities, who enjoys working closely with leadership in a professional and fast-moving environment.

  • Screen incoming calls, emails and correspondence
  • Draft and respond to emails, reports and documents
  • Provide a clear and friendly first point of contact for customers

Meeting Coordination

  • Coordinate meetings
  • Take meeting minutes and follow up on agreed actions

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organised filing systems and records
  • Spreadsheet management and general documentation
  • Process orders and update job schedules

Project & Office Support

  • Coordinate with different departments and operational teams
  • Support general office management activities when required

Inductions & Finance Support

  • Assist the Managing Director with employee induction administration
  • Support basic finance administration and record keeping

Confidentiality & Professionalism

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

We are looking for someone reliable, organised and positive, who enjoys supporting a team and keeping systems running efficiently.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, * Around 1 year or more experience in office administration, customer service or a similar role

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence managing emails and customer requests
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets and general IT systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A clear and friendly telephone manner
  • A willingness to learn and contribute

Desirable (but not essential)

  • An interest in or knowledge of the arboricultural, construction or grounds maintenance sectors
  • Experience using AI tools to support social media posts or website blogs
