Network Engineer

Tasks

• Contribute to the design and operation of network and firewall systems.
• Engage actively in internal infrastructure projects and tasks.
• Develop network infrastructures with technical concepts and standards., * You contribute to conception, design, engineering, and operation in the field of network and firewall
• You actively participate in internal infrastructure projects and subprojects
• You further develop the managed network infrastructures by creating technical solution concepts, defining standards, and implementing them in projects
• You advise and support our customers and internal projects with installations, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of network and firewall infrastructures
• You communicate with customers and colleagues and support them with your technical know-how
• You document technical implementations and workflows

• Degree in computer science or similar with years of experience.
• Experience in data center network and security, especially firewalling.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Python is a plus., * (Technical) university degree in computer science or comparable education
• Several years of practical experience in the network area
• Knowledge in datacenter network and security area (firewalling)
• Ansible and Python knowledge is desirable
• Commitment and customer orientation are a matter of course for you. You conduct intensive communication in our customer projects motivated and professionally
• High willingness to work and flexibility as well as willingness to learn new things

• Confident German and English skills, both spoken and written
