As a Junior Auditor Innovation & Technology (IT), you are responsible for identifying risks, advising stakeholders and contributing to a secure digital banking environment.

The Audit Rotation Program

This three-fased program is designed to accelerate your development into a IT auditor:

  • Fase 1: Onboarding, mentorship, and foundational training in Rabobank's risk and audit landscape.
  • Fase 2: Deepen your expertise through hands-on audit execution and professional certifications.
  • Fase 3: Lead audits, mentor new participants, and prepare for a leadership role outside of Audit.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of IT systems, databases, networks, and information security concepts.
  • Understanding of IT controls frameworks and risk-based auditing (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001 concepts).
  • Analytical skills with Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, or audit analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Relevant degree or early-career experience in IT, information systems, accounting, audit, or cybersecurity.

Success measures

  • Accurate control testing and well-supported audit evidence.
  • Actionable insights that improve IT risk management and audit efficiency., * Academic working and thinking level (master's degree).
  • Strong IT technical or software development knowledge and/or background.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in or affinity with IT (audit).
  • Solution-oriented.
  • Stimulating collaboration.
  • Taking unequivocal ownership.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,024 and EUR 5,747 (scale 08) for a 36-hour work week.
  • Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
  • Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.
