Epic Analysts

NHS Trust is looking for accredited Epic Analysts for a long-term contract (2 years) to support a large-scale EPR (Electronic Patient Record) implementation on a hybrid basis.

• • General education to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience
• • IT Qualification in Excel (or equivalent experience)

Desirable criteria

• • Epic certified in at least one application
• • PRINCE/MSP or other project management qualification

Experience Essential criteria

• • Design and delivery of workflows/processes in a clinical environment
• • Experience of delivery of benefits from the implementation of technology / services
• • Experience of working with the Epic EPR system
• • Experience of working with senior clinical staff, medical consultants and other senior managers
• • Experience of delivering complex technical projects to tight deadlines

Desirable criteria

• • Experience of managing clinical and/or operational services within the NHS
• • Electronic patient record (EPR) design and delivery in a clinical environment
• • Configuration and adaptation of EPR technology to meet the needs of users
• • Application support service delivery
• • Previous NHS experience, * * Thorough understanding of clinical and/or operational workflows and processes in a healthcare setting
• • Knowledge of the Epic EPR system
• • Understanding of Information Governance

• • Understanding of NHS operational and/or clinical management

• • Present complex technical information to non-technical large groups of internal or external clinicians/ operational managers
• • Negotiate and use effective persuasive techniques with senior level staff
• • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time on complex data and process analysis
