Data Analyst

We are recruiting for a skilled Data Analyst to support a busy manufacturing operation on a 1-month temporary basis. Working closely with the Director, this role is critical in delivering clear, actionable insights across stock levels, production performance, and commercial data. This position requires someone who can take high-level direction and independently build meaningful, accurate reports from raw system data. Key Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse, and interpret data from internal systems
• Create clear, insightful reports to support business decisions
• Work directly with the Director to understand reporting needs and deliver outputs accordingly
• Manipulate and transform raw data into structured, meaningful formats
• Develop dashboards and scenario models where required
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within datasets

• Advanced Excel expertise (essential), including:

• Complex formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)

• Pivot tables and dynamic dashboard creation

• Scenario modelling and in-depth data analysis

• Exceptional numerical and analytical skills

• Strong ability to interpret and present complex data clearly

• Experience in data analysis, accounting, or a commercial/finance-focused role

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is desirable as well as background in finance, accounting, or commercial analysis
