Junior Dev Ops Engineer

During this junior rol at Rabobank you work on your career by building and maintaining a modern analytics platform within One!Lab, while learning on the job from experienced platform engineers. You combine hands-on technical work with continuous learning and feedback in a supportive team environment. And then? You grow step by step into a specialized Azure Platform Engineer, expand your professional network within the bank and develop skills that are relevant for your long-term career in cloud and data engineering.

• You work daily on a large-scale analytics platform used by over 1.500 users.
• You learn by doing, supported by experienced colleagues and clear guidance.
• You build a strong foundation for a future role as Azure Platform Engineer.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in information technology, for example in software development, data engineering or cloud development (Azure or AWS).
• Coding skills in Python and the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. Azure DevOps and prove of concepts on Github are a bonus.
• Basic experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills in English and a passion for learning and growing through feedback.

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 3,447 and EUR 4,923 (scale 07) for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
• Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.
• Hybrid working: a balance between home and office work (possible for most roles).

Your development as a young professional

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to get to know yourself, the field of cloud and data platforms, and Rabobank. You start in a junior position within Team Neptune, where you work on the foundation of the One!Lab platform. Alongside your daily work, you continue to develop yourself through learning on the job, feedback from colleagues and collaboration with other juniors and experienced engineers. This allows you to quickly gain practical experience and build a valuable network within the bank.
