About the Role:
As a Data Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of operational effectiveness, guiding data governance planning and prioritization. Your expertise will help us harness trusted and accessible data to meet the UK's ambitious net zero target by 2030.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Governance Operations:
- Lead and improve the data governance planning cycle.
- Ensure effective prioritization of BAU and change initiatives.
- Resolve cross-capability dependencies and escalate risks/issues effectively.
- Operational Reporting:
- Define and develop KPIs and KCIs for the Data team.
- Oversee reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate Monthly Business Reviews and manage status updates and risks.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage team budget and vendor relationships.
- Align data service requests with capability capacity.

Requirements
We're looking for a visionary leader who is ready to drive our data governance initiatives forward! If you have a background in data management or a related field, and possess the following skills, we encourage you to apply, * Bachelor's degree in a data or technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in program planning and management within a central data function.
- Proven ability to unify disparate workflows towards common objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with data management and protection capabilities is preferred., * Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
