We're looking for a flexible, creative Communications and Digital Content Assistant to join our communications team on a part-time basis. You will share tasks and work closely with a member of the team who works part-time (3 days a week). You will support internal and external activities, enhance our web presence and contribute to multimedia and design projects. This role is ideal for a young graduate, freelance professional or contractor with a strong interest combining science communication and digital content creation. Responsabilities - Support planning, publishing and continuous improvement of English-language web pages. - Create short videos and take quality photographs of personnel, events and projects. - Assist with graphic design tasks (posters, banners, visuals, SWAG) using industry-standard tools for web, print and social. - Perform general administrative support for the communications team. - Liaise with the web development agency to coordinate updates, fixes, new features and SEO. - Help maintain consistency of messaging across digital platforms. What we're looking for Required qualifications - Be familiar with the Mac interface. - Proficiency web tools (CMS and in particular WordPress (administrator), document editing). - Experience with graphic and web tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, basic video editing). - Good eye for detail and design. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks flexibly. - Good command of written and spoken French and English (written English more important for job and spoken for integration in international setting). Preferred qualifications - Experience creating multimedia content for research and tech audiences.
