Senior Application Architect, Brussels (near-site) - International Organisation

Experienced IT professional with a strong background in back-end and front-end development, DevOps practices, and cloud-based architectures. The role requires extensive experience in Java and Angular, hands-on knowledge of AWS services and AWS CDK, and the ability to work with modern technologies in fast-changing environments. Strong communication skills are essential to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences while maintaining high-quality standards., * Design, develop, and maintain back-end solutions using Java and Python.

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular.
• Work with application servers and databases such as Wildfly and PostgreSQL.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Develop and consume web services using SOAP and REST.
• Implement solutions using Spring Boot.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and AWS services.
• Participate in DevOps processes using AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit.
• Prepare and deliver business and technical presentations.
• Apply high quality standards in all development activities.
• Participate in technical meetings and contribute to discussions.
• Produce clear and well-structured technical documentation.
• Analyze issues and provide effective problem-solving solutions.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Angular.
• At least 12 years of specific expertise in Java.
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of Wildfly, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• Experience with Bash scripting.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Back-end development using Java and Python.
• Front-end development using Angular.
• DevOps experience with AWS CDK and AWS services, including S3, IAM, CloudFront, ECR, EFS, RDS, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit.
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Ability to cope with fast-changing technologies.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
