Job Description: Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)
We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a mission-critical project team. This role is ideal for a specialist who excels in building scalable, secure, and automated environments within the Azure ecosystem. Engagement Details
- Location: Fully Remote (UK Based)
- Duration: Until 31/10/2026
- Rate: £525 per day
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- Security Clearance: SC Clearance is required
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Develop and refine scalable, efficient infrastructure designs to support evolving project needs.
- Automated Deployment: Streamline the deployment, configuration, and management of applications through robust automation.
- Proactive Monitoring: Track system performance meticulously and address potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
- Security and Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to industry standards and regulatory security requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Development, QA, and Ops teams to ensure the seamless integration of all applications.
Essential Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate deep technical expertise in:
- Kubernetes and Containerization: Extensive experience managing orchestrated container environments.
- Cloud Platforms: Proven hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): A strong background in automating infrastructure life cycles.
