  • Staff events, * Provide IT support to the EJS team, assisting with a variety of technical tasks to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver technical assistance to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other office hardware/software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and SharePoint structures, as well as provisioning IT equipment.
  • Support data protection protocols and security standards such as MFA, VPN, and ISO 27001-aligned practices.
  • Assist in IT projects
  • Assist in creating and maintain knowledge base articles for both IT teams and end users.
  • Work alongside senior IT engineers on security, infrastructure, and data analytics initiatives/Development.
  • Learn and apply processes for extracting and analysing data from aircraft IPC/ records.
  • Assist in running Crystal Reports and generating SQL scripts to import data into Quantum (Aviation ERP).
  • Execute SQL queries in Quantum to update and correct data as required.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT support across all teams in the business
  • Provide excellent customer service to all teams in the business

Requirements

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
  • A strong desire to develop advanced IT skills and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including user creation and security group management.
  • Familiarity with print servers (experience deploying printers via GPO or Intune is highly advantageous).
  • Ability to build laptops using MDT or Autopilot.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills for basic IT issues, with confidence to escalate when necessary.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals and basic principles.
  • Experience with Hyper-V virtual machine management.
  • Previous exposure to an ITIL-controlled environment.
  • Basic knowledge of CMD and PowerShell commands/scripts.
  • Experience configuring network equipment at a basic level.
  • Understanding of Windows DFS, security permissions, and Share permissions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint permissions and folder structures.
  • Experience setting up users in an ERP system, ideally Quantum (Aviation ERP).
  • Ability to follow technical guides provided by senior technicians.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, methodical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive for self-learning and following new technology.
