Job description
The IT Support Engineer will provide 1st line technical support to clients, assisting with a range of IT issues. This includes responding to support requests, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring a high standard of customer service., · Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests, logging all calls accurately in the helpdesk system
· Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
· Diagnose and resolve IT issues, escalating where necessary
· Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all work carried out
· Assist with building, configuring and repairing IT equipment
· Deliver and install equipment at client sites when required
Requirements
· Experience in an IT support or MSP helpdesk environment
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Good organisational skills and attention to detail
· A proactive and reliable approach to work
· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
· Ability to commute to Whiteley daily
Desirable Skills
· Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
· Knowledge of Active Directory
· Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (including OneDrive and SharePoint)
· Familiarity with Windows Server and Windows 10/11
· Experience supporting printers and other peripherals
· Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, etc.)
· Experience with IT security products
· Strong documentation and case logging skills
