Job description

  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate

  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers, and other teams

  • Understand user journeys and improve them through effective UX writing

  • Present your work to internal teams and clients

  • Continuously improve content using feedback, analytics, and best practices

  • Ensure all content meets accessibility, legal, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Experience in a UX Writing or Content Design role, using user-centred design principles

  • Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles

  • A strong advocate for user-centred design

  • Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working with tone of voice guidelines, design patterns, and style guides
