DATA SCIENTIST

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to design, build, and optimise data pipelines within a Databricks environment on Google Cloud. This role will focus on defining key data flows, structuring complex datasets, and implementing scalable data solutions using modern data engineering and analytics tools., * Define and design end-to-end data flows within Databricks (Google Cloud platform)

• Develop and implement robust data pipelines and data models
• Design and manage tables for complex data structures, ensuring efficiency and scalability
• Work with large datasets to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimisation across systems

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with DataBricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience designing and implementing Data pipeline and data flows
• Expertise in data modelling, particularly for complex data structures
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data architecture best practices, * Experience working in cloud-based data environments
• Familiarity with big data tools and distributed processing frameworks
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimisation techniques, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
