Job description

You'll be working closely with the founder, with direct exposure to an experienced investor who has successfully scaled and exited a business. Together, you'll shape the direction of the business, build the growth engine from the ground up, and move quickly from idea to implementation.

This isn't a corporate marketing role. It's an opportunity to take real ownership in an early-stage business and be directly responsible for making it work commercially.

Location: Hybrid, with weekly in-person meetings in Derby

Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies focused on driving bookings and revenue

Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns (primarily Meta), testing hooks, creatives and audiences

Own and improve the website - including structure, messaging and conversion performance

Build and optimise end-to-end customer journeys - from first touchpoint through to booking and checkout

Work with platforms such as Shopify (or similar) to improve performance and user experience

Create and test landing pages, offers and funnel flows to increase conversion rates

Identify and remove friction in the user journey through continuous testing and iteration

Improve organic visibility through SEO and content opportunities

Refine messaging and positioning to ensure the brand feels clear, premium and compelling

Requirements

Experience growing an early-stage brand, product or service

Clear examples of driving revenue, bookings or measurable growth

Hands-on experience running paid social campaigns (Meta essential)

Experience building and optimising funnels and conversion journeys

Experience improving website performance and conversion rates

Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms

Comfortable working across both strategy and execution

Strong understanding of customer behaviour and what drives action

Confident analysing performance data and making decisions from it

Experience with "vibe marketing" - strong instinct for what stops the scroll and drives action

Actively using AI tools such as Claude (e.g. Claude Co-Work / Claude Code) to increase speed, testing and output

Able to work independently, take ownership and operate in a fast-moving environment
