Job description
A Japanese IT company is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking IT Support Engineer to join their infrastructure support team in London.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users,
ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues and maintaining a high level of
customer satisfaction.
The role will suit someone who has +3 years of IT engineer experience.
There may be opportunities for business travel within London, and to other overseas locations., Work type: Hybrid working e (2 days in office, 3 days remote; onsite visits as required), * Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing system

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems following standard procedures

Escalate unresolved issues to second- or third-level support teams

Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately
Requirements

At least 3 years of IT engineer experience

Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows)

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business applications

Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Problem-solving mindset

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or operating network equipment would be advantageous
