Job description

A Japanese IT company is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking IT Support Engineer to join their infrastructure support team in London.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users,

ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues and maintaining a high level of

customer satisfaction.

The role will suit someone who has +3 years of IT engineer experience.

There may be opportunities for business travel within London, and to other overseas locations., Work type: Hybrid working e (2 days in office, 3 days remote; onsite visits as required), * Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing system

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems following standard procedures

  • Escalate unresolved issues to second- or third-level support teams

  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of IT engineer experience

  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business applications

  • Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving mindset

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or operating network equipment would be advantageous
