Junior IT Support

Working as part of a small IT team, you will provide first-line, on-site technical support to internal users while assisting senior IT staff with day-to-day operational tasks. You will act as a key point of contact for IT-related issues on-site, ensuring smooth IT operations and a high standard of user support.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external IT service providers, while reporting directly to the IT Operations Lead., * Deliver first-line/deskside IT support to office-based staff

• Monitor third-party helpdesk queues and assist with incident triage
• Act as the on-site IT liaison, coordinating issue resolution and escalation to external providers and software vendors
• Support user onboarding and offboarding processes (account setup, hardware configuration, access removal)
• Manage system access and permissions in line with approved procedures
• Set up and configure laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
• Install and replace hardware, including troubleshooting faulty equipment
• Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, recycling, and secure disposal of IT assets
• Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and assets
• Carry out approved software installations as required
• Produce and update user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with IT projects such as hardware upgrades and office changes

• First line support experience
• Drivers license as travel between sites is essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Eager to learn and develop within an IT environment
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
