Senior Data Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing Azure data team within a large enterprise organisation undergoing significant technology transformation.

This role offers the opportunity to work on modern data platforms, contribute to the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·Design and deliver scalable Azure-based data pipelines

·Build and maintain ETL workflows supporting analytics and reporting

·Support Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake production environments

·Contribute to the migration and adoption of Microsoft Fabric

·Develop and optimise data models supporting business intelligence

·Support Power BI reporting environments

·Integrate multiple internal and external data sources

·Work within Agile delivery environments using Azure DevOps

·Mentor junior engineers and support technical best practice

·Strong experience in Azure data engineering

·Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning

·Experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake

·Strong ETL development experience

·Experience working with Power BI

·Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

·Experience working within Agile environments

·Strong communication and collaboration skills
