Job description
LCF has recently transitioned to a new version of Salesforce, and this role will lead the remainder of the transition project - enabling the organisation to fully embed the system and its associated integrations.
The new Salesforce system is now live, with the majority of data migration complete. There are a number of interconnected projects underway that are critical to successful adoption and long-term value, including:
- Completion of the Salesforce-Sage finance integration (scheduled for April 2026)
- Further configuration and development of Salesforce grant-management functionality
- Integration with tools used for form building and specific grant processes (e.g. Plinth, FormTitan)
- Development and improvement of reporting and dashboards to support operational delivery, impact reporting and decision-making
As Technology Manager, you will act as LCF's organisation-wide lead for systems and technology, with a strong hands-on understanding of Salesforce and related platforms. You will provide technical delivery management across multiple workstreams, "connecting the dots" between change requests to ensure systems are reliable, well-governed, user-centred and aligned with our organisational strategy.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely (in matrix) with our Finance, Grants & Impact, and Development teams, you will own day-to-day system administration and continuous improvement across Salesforce, Sage and connected tools. You will also support data quality, reporting, GDPR-by-design practices and user enablement across the organisation.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with strong technical and delivery experience who can hit the ground running in a live environment. You'll bring:
- Hands-on experience administering and improving systems such as Salesforce and Sage
- Experience managing integrations, suppliers and multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong data, reporting and dashboard skills
- A structured approach to issue management, change control and continuous improvement
- The ability to work confidently in a matrix environment, supporting and upskilling system super-users
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues
Experience in the charity or grants sector, Salesforce certifications, and familiarity with tools such as FormTitan, PDF Butler or grant-making data models would be an advantage, but are not essential.
