Job description
We are supporting our client in the appointment of an IT Support Engineer on a 6 month contract.
In this role you will provide high quality IT support to both onsite and remote users, ensuring day to day technology issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing support tickets, diagnosing technical issues, and delivering excellent customer service across a range of Microsoft and infrastructure technologies.
This position would suit someone with solid experience in an onsite client facing technical support role who enjoys troubleshooting and supporting end users in a fast paced environment., * Respond to support incidents within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) via portal, email or telephone
- Take ownership of support tickets from creation through to resolution and closure
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across desktop, server and network environments
- Maintain clear communication with users, keeping them updated throughout the support process
- Log and document faults, resolutions and troubleshooting steps
- Liaise with third party suppliers where required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a client facing IT support role
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office
- Experience with Active Directory user administration
- Exposure to Exchange environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
