Job description

If you're a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer who enjoys being on-site, solving real-time issues and working closely with operations, this is a role where you can genuinely make an impact.

We're recruiting an IT Support Engineer to support a large-scale, fast-paced manufacturing facility in Anwick, Lincolnshire. You'll be the go-to IT contact on-site, helping to keep systems, users and production technology running smoothly in a busy operational environment.

This is a fully office-based role with no hybrid or remote working options. The Role - IT Site Services / 2nd Line IT Support (BASED NEAR SLEAFORD)

This is a hands-on, site-based position where you'll take ownership of IT support across the facility.

You will:

  • Deliver 2nd Line IT Support across office and production environments
  • Support end-user devices, mobile devices, printers and other IT hardware
  • Manage incidents, service requests, changes and problem records within an ITIL environment
  • Support VOIP telephony, AV equipment and network connectivity
  • Carry out proactive IT maintenance, patching and upgrades
  • Work closely with engineering teams and site leadership
  • Help ensure high IT service availability in a live manufacturing environment

You'll be the primary IT support contact on-site, giving you real ownership and visibility within the wider IT operation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a 2nd Line IT Support / IT Support Engineer role
  • Experience supporting IT within manufacturing, production, factory or FMCG environments
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Incident, Change and Problem Management
  • Experience with printers, mobile devices, AV equipment and network troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confident stakeholder communication
  • Full UK Driving Licence
