Job description

Teams with an agile mindset go further. That's what we believe in. And that's why we rely on you, as a Scrum Master, to bring this agile mindset to life within our organization. As a coach and facilitator, you bring out the best in people and gain energy from ensuring that everything runs smoothly together.

You will be responsible for a number of scrum teams within a specific domain, such as our B2B domain: the internal client for whom we deliver end-to-end solutions. You do not manage these teams from a content perspective, but you ensure that they collaborate smoothly according to our agile way of working.

The result? Incidents are resolved quickly. Everything remains up and running. We deliver software and new features as efficiently as possible, while maintaining a positive team dynamic. You are strongly results-oriented: you help teams stay focused on deliverables and ensure that commitments are actually delivered. At the same time, you work in a data-driven way: you define and track KPIs (e.g. flow, predictability, and quality) so that we can continuously adjust and improve.

What does your job as a Domain Scrum Master look like?

  • You inspire and coach teams with diverse profiles. You help them continuously improve their self-organization and achieve their objectives
  • You organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies
  • Together with the Product Owner, you ensure a backlog with the right priorities
  • Are there impediments or inefficiencies? You identify them and initiate the path toward a solution
  • You encourage knowledge sharing and embed knowledge within (and across) the teams in your domain
  • You are results-oriented and help teams deliver: you monitor scope and progress, make dependencies visible, and support teams in effectively honoring their commitments
  • You work in a data-driven way: you define and track KPIs (e.g. lead time, predictability, quality) and use tools such as Azure DevOps to make delivery and progress transparent
  • You work closely with the Domain IT Lead, who provides content-related guidance to the teams, and the People Lead, who is responsible for people management

Requirements

  • You have several years of experience with organizational methods that enable teams to collaborate in an agile way. You are familiar with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Experience with SAFe is considered a valuable plus.
  • You are strongly results-oriented and take ownership to deliver predictably together with the teams; you steer based on facts and are able to define and track KPIs to support continuous improvement.
  • You actively listen to input from the teams. This enables you to organize work in a way that works for everyone. Your empathy also helps you coach people effectively.
  • You have a strong mindset for continuous improvement. Your approach is proactive, pragmatic, and flexible.
  • You have experience and affinity with IT delivery and support, and you are familiar with the digital world.
  • When you learn something new, you are happy to share that knowledge with others.
  • You communicate fluently in English, Dutch, and French.

Benefits & conditions

Your attractive salary package is supplemented by some attractive fringe benefits such as:

  • group and hospitalization insurance
  • meal and eco-vouchers
  • 20 holiday days and 12 days recovery time

To discover your talents, develop them further and build on your career, you will receive:

  • a diverse range of training courses
  • a comprehensive onboarding
  • workshops, coaching & well-being services
  • opportunities for internal mobility
