Job description

Data Migration Manager

12-month contract

Initially 2 days a week onsite in Wiltshire - will move more remote

£450-500/day overall assignment rate to umbrella

Requirement is for someone to lead all data workstreams for a migration from Legacy to Business Central. The Data Migration Manager will be responsible for owning the end-to-end migration and act as the single point of accountability for data readiness.

Data Migration Manager, key responsibilities:

Leading data workstreams
Define end-to-end migration approach - mapping, transformation, data cleansing, validation
Shaping datasets
Establish data quality rules
Translate technical requirements
Oversight of cleansing of Legacy data
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
Plan and run all data migration activities

Data Migration Manager, key skills:

Proven experience delivering data migrations
Strong understanding of data structures
Hands-on experience defining and executing migration strategies
Ability to interpret and define data mapping and transformation rules
Capability to manage multiple migration cycles
Experience applying data quality frameworks
Strong communication skills
