BI (business intelligence) Consultant

Role purpose: Drive data-driven decision-making within a transformation program by delivering reliable BI insights, dashboards, and reporting that support strategic and operational goals. Core responsibilities - Translate business needs into clear BI requirements, KPIs, and reporting definitions. - Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for program and stakeholder visibility. - Analyze trends, performance, and process outcomes; provide actionable insights and recommendations. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across sources and metrics. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, transformation leads, and IT/data teams to align solutions with program objectives. - Support continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and optimizing BI processes. Required skills and experience - Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst in complex, cross-functional environments. - Strong capabilities in data analysis, KPI design, and stakeholder management. - Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL for data querying. - Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles. - Excellent communication skills to explain insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience supporting transformation programs or change initiatives is preferred.
