Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and implement innovative training scenarios that support the development of next-generation operators. In this role, you will work closely with domain experts to build engaging, technically complex environments and lead efforts to develop advanced scenario grading and evaluation capabilities. You will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where requirements evolve quickly. This position requires strong full-stack development skills, the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions, and a passion for building systems that directly support critical training and operational outcomes. Responsibilities Develop software applications supporting training environments using languages such as Python, Java, and C++ Automate manual deployment processes to improve scalability and training throughput Design and implement automation workflows for scenario development and deployment Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures Gather requirements and feedback from users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams Build and maintain configuration documentation and repeatable deployment processes
Requirements
12+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, Experience designing and developing full-stack applications and architectures Experience working with modern development frameworks Background in user interface design, development, and integration with backend APIs Experience with requirements gathering and system architecture planning Understanding of network architecture and topologies Nice to Haves Experience with Windows and Unix security concepts Experience with network architecture and system design Strong understanding of virtualized environments (e.g., vSphere, virtual machines) Experience working in complex or highly regulated technical environments Development experience with technologies such as Java, MongoDB, and Python
Benefits & conditions
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 (annualized USD).
