Job description
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a UI focus to join a fast-moving engineering team supporting multiple UIs in a microservice ecosystem. Project management is done using feature-driven development. The team is highly collaborative, and engineers are encouraged to help drive system design. You will work closely with the mission and interact with customers daily, focusing on UI development while contributing across the stack as needed. Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications that interact with Java microservices.
Work closely with the technical lead on technical decisions and product roadmap.
Resolve challenging software engineering design problems.
Interact with customers to resolve issues and propose new features.
Requirements
12+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR
10+ years with a Master's degree, OR
4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, Experience designing, debugging, and problem-solving with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with Vue, React, or a similar frontend framework.
RESTful web application development experience.
Experience with MongoDB or similar database technology.
Experience building and maintaining automated tests.
Nice to Haves Full-stack experience with a focus on Java or another JVM-based language.
Kafka experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Linux administration experience.
Experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
Benefits & conditions
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $181,000 - $220,000 (annualized USD).
